You don't know what you've got till it's gone ...

This week marks 18 months since Thames Water first applied for planning permission for their sewage storage tank at Daly Way Green.

With a new Thames Water application expected soon, now is a good time to remind ourselves of what we're campaigning for ...

This says it all!

Just look at what you are attempting to do, Thames Water! Building a tank under this green is indefensible and you know it! Imagine your kids played here or you lived here. However you attempt to disguise it, you are going to ruin this Green forever and you damn well know it. GET OFF!

I walk along the Tring Road all the time and I just don't believe you can't sort out a solution for this flooding along the roadside, without closing the road. The bit you say is affected has got to be the widest pavement and verge along the whole length of it! You could find another better solution if you bothered.

AVDC: I just hope you realise what we've got and protect it, before it's too late! Make the right decision even if it's not the easiest one.

Excellent video, authorities please take note.

If you have a leaky water pipe in your house you wouldn't dream of placing a very large bucket under the leak and then periodically emptying it when it filled up.

What you would do is to replace the pipe and have a permanent solution because it is common sense and the practical thing to do.

Where is the common sense in this solution.

So, the contractors are going to work all night for many nights, re-surfacing the Tring Rd near Bedgrove.
Seems for some, its OK to work all night on the Tring Road, but Thames Water says it can't.

I trust we will bring this up at the eventual planning committee meeting when TWU tell the committee how they can't work in the Tring Road and must have Daly Way Green !!!!!

They say they can't work on the Tring Road all night because it will disturb residents and then say they are going to leave their noisy pumps and equipment running all night on the green.

Why is it ok for some and not others, talk about double standards
