That covenant on high walls and fences I think also applies to Cumberland Park, although some properties appear to have ignored it.
They must work for Thames Water or the Council as they also ignore covenants

I have a friend who lives on Bedgrove who tells me houses there have a covenant stopping people putting up high walls etc at the front of their property. AVDC enforce this covenant very strictly.

Let's just hope they have enough moral integrity to apply this to themselves and enforce the Covenant on the Green if and when neccessary. Would look to me like a hypocritical case of double standards otherwise.

Suggest they band together, find a no win no fee solicitor, and take TW to court - BIG COMPENSATION PAID TO Marcic so a precedent has been set.

Isn't one of AVDC's priorities to create a great environment? I quote "demonstrating our commitment to protect and enhance the local environment, ensure the sustainable use of resources, reduce waste, use energy efficiently and improve air quality." So are these just empty words? Prove you mean them. Get Thames Water to provide a proper solution for everyone, and in the right place!

At the drop in session one of the places Thames Water are proposing to build is in the corner, opposite the last house on the bottom left of the picture. I think they will look at that and decide to open a route from there through Wheeler Close (the road that goes diagonally upwards to the middle of the photo) onto the Tring Road.
The bridge over the stream (you know, where the ducks have taken up residence as testimony to Thames Water's {lack of} commitment to keeping the balancing pond working properly) is for EMERGENCY ACCESS ONLY. One of the safety and security features of this area is that there is no through route, and if Wheeler Close gets opened up this place will become a rat run.
On the one hand you would have lorries going past St. Edward's in one direction, or commuter traffic in the other, at school dropping off or letting out time. Either is madness! The whole idea is madness! TW, AVDC and BCC - it is not going to work. Upgrade the sewer in the Tring Road where it should be. For once listen to your bill payers and tax payers AND DO THE JOB PROPERLY.
